Real love does not require you to give up who you are.
If you have to change who you are in order to be loved, then you are not being truly loved.

It's sometimes tempting to try to turn ourselves into the person we imagine our partner wants us to be.
We may hide our feelings, our beliefs. or our desires in an attempt to make ourselves more appealing to the one we love. But when we present a false self to gain acceptance, we close off the possibility of being truly and unconditionally loved. As long as our true self
remains hidden, we are unable to receive the love we deserve.

Genuine love is given and received because of who we are - not what we do.
